University Application Support
Choosing a university involves more than completing an application. Intelligent Partners helps students choose suitable courses and universities, prepare applications, manage deadlines, compare offers and get ready for departure.
We support undergraduate, postgraduate, foundation and pathway applications, including students who already hold UAE government scholarships. Families in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, Sharjah and the other emirates can consult us online or visit our JLT, Dubai office.

We prepare a personal timeline around the student’s course, country and intended intake.
Choose school subjects that keep suitable degrees open. Explore careers through internships.
Compare countries, shortlist universities, check entry requirements and explore campus visits.
Prepare essays, references, entrance requirements and interviews. Submit applications before the deadlines. Some competitive UK courses, including medicine, have deadlines as early as October in the year before entry.
Compare universities, meet offer conditions, accept on time and arrange housing and deposits.
Prepare visa documents, tuition payments, accommodation and travel.
We check the relevant dates for each university and intake.
Dropping a subject too early can limit university options later.
Medicine commonly requires chemistry and biology. Engineering often requires mathematics and physics.
We help students check subject requirements and explore joint degrees, double degrees, major/minor combinations and interdisciplinary courses.
Where needed, we can introduce students to trusted external tutors.
An internship helps students explore a subject before committing to a degree.
Healthcare observerships introduce students to medical environments. Engineering programmes offer insight into engineering work.
These experiences can help students reflect on their interests in applications and interviews. They do not guarantee admission.
We compare university options based on:
Europe is a major focus, including English-taught degrees in the Netherlands, Germany and France.
We also advise on the UK, Ireland, Italy, Spain, the Czech Republic, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.
If a destination does not suit a student’s qualifications, budget or plans, we explain why.
Where universities permit it, we help arrange campus visits and admissions appointments.
Direct university entry is not the only route. Foundation programmes can provide routes into medicine, engineering, business and other degrees. Pre-master’s and postgraduate pathways may help students meet entry requirements for further study. We check required grades, progression conditions and whether entry to the final degree is guaranteed or competitive.
We start with a conversation, not a blank page.
Our advisers help students identify experiences that show their interests and reasons for choosing a course.
Essay specialists who work with Intelligent Partners provide feedback on structure, clarity and relevance.
Students remain the authors of their applications.
For highly selective universities, including Oxbridge and Ivy League institutions, students can explore specialist admissions guidance with Viral Doshi.
Some universities interview students before making admission decisions.
We help applicants understand interview expectations and communicate their ideas clearly.
For medicine, doctors who work with Intelligent Partners help students prepare for Multiple Mini Interviews (MMIs), including ethical scenarios, communication and motivation for medicine.
Receiving an offer brings new decisions and deadlines. We help students:
Our in-house visa documentation specialists help students prepare visa applications, check documents and meet deadlines.
Student work rights and post-study stay-back options vary by country. We review the latest applicable rules during individual counselling.
The UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and many European countries permit eligible international students to work under certain conditions.
Malaysia and Singapore have tighter restrictions.
We check permitted hours, institutional eligibility and current visa rules.
A sandwich degree includes a period of industry work experience.
In the UK, a placement year commonly extends a three-year bachelor’s degree to four years.
Some universities of applied sciences in the Netherlands and Germany also incorporate practical placements.
Often, yes, if they meet the academic and subject requirements.
Some programmes, including certain MBAs, require professional experience.
We help students choose undergraduate degrees that keep suitable postgraduate options open.
Will the degree be recognised where the student wants to work?
We review university accreditation, qualification-recognition requirements and any professional licensing conditions before students apply.
Overseas qualifications may require recognition by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR). Medicine and other regulated professions may involve additional examinations or licensing. Final decisions rest with the relevant authorities.
A university must be affordable for the whole degree, not just the first year.
We prepare personalised cost estimates covering tuition, accommodation, living expenses, insurance, visa costs and other relevant expenses.
We also discuss whether permitted part-time work might contribute to living costs, without assuming employment or income is guaranteed.
We can explain bank education-loan options and eligibility requirements. Approval rests with the bank. We help families plan around realistic costs rather than relying on unconfirmed scholarships.
Students who already hold a UAE government scholarship may need to choose universities and courses approved under their sponsoring authority’s requirements.
Intelligent Partners helps scholarship holders identify approved universities and eligible majors, shortlist suitable options and manage their university applications.
This includes scholarships awarded through the Ministry of Education (MOE), the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR), and other UAE government scholarship programmes, where our admissions support is applicable.
Other programmes we can review include Abu Dhabi Scholarships, the Presidential Court Scholarship Office programmes and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Scholarship Programme.
We check the current university and course requirements for each student’s particular scholarship scheme. Approval under one programme does not automatically mean approval under another.
We support scholarship holders in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, Sharjah and throughout the UAE, through online consultations and appointments at our JLT, Dubai office.
Our service is for students who have already received a scholarship. We assist with university admissions, not with awarding or securing government scholarship funding.
