Multi-Department Hospital Observership — Abu Dhabi

Multi-Specialty Clinic Observational Programme — Abu Dhabi
A BUSY CLINIC. DIFFERENT SPECIALTIES. FLEXIBLE START DATES.
Students spend three hours daily observing selected clinical services, which may include:
- Triage & Nursing Station — Patient assessment
- Phlebotomy — Blood collection
- Vision Testing — Ophthalmology
- Audiometry — Hearing assessments
- ECG — Cardiac testing
- Spirometry — Lung-function assessment
- General Practitioner — Primary care
- Occupational Health — Workplace medical assessments
Rotations depend on which doctors and departments are available on the day.
Flexible scheduling: Midweek and weekend starts can be arranged, subject to availability, without waiting for a fixed holiday batch.
Students observe only. No patient care, procedures, equipment handling or access to confidential patient information.

Diagnostic Laboratory Exposure — Dubai

Students explore how diagnostic laboratories support medical investigations, with exposure to:

- Molecular Biology and Microbiology
- Anatomical Pathology
Activities may include observing laboratory processes, demonstrations and diagnostic technologies.
Suitable for students interested in biology, biomedical science and diagnostics. Vaccination requirements may apply; places depend on laboratory capacity.

Dentistry Observership — Dubai
DENTISTRY IS ITS OWN CLINICAL WORLD.
Students observe dental consultations, clinical procedures, instruments, infection control and how a dental practice operates.
A first-hand introduction for students considering dentistry.
Students do not perform dental or clinical procedures.

Veterinary Clinical Experience — Dubai
MEDICINE CHANGES WHEN YOUR PATIENT CANNOT TELL YOU WHAT HURTS.
Students explore animal care, hygiene, safe handling, consultations and veterinary decision-making.
Selected simple animal-handling activities may be permitted under direct professional supervision.
Students do not independently diagnose, treat animals or perform veterinary procedures.

Can students treat patients?
No. Human clinical programmes are observational. Veterinary students may undertake selected supervised simple animal-handling activities.
