Psychology Programmes for High School Students in Dubai & UAE

Psychology is the study of how people think, feel, behave and make decisions. For a student who finds people interesting, there is a lot to discover.

Intelligent Partners connects students in Grades 9–13 with three five-day psychology programmes. Two take place in person in Dubai, while the third is virtual and available across the UAE, including Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

Each programme is delivered by a vetted provider, with guidance throughout the experience. Programmes are open to students of all nationalities and school curricula.

Every student receives a Certificate of Completion.

Mind Matters — Psychology In-Person Internship

Why do two people react completely differently to the same situation?

Mind Matters looks at everyday psychology: how people communicate, handle emotions and build relationships.

The programme examines behaviour in ordinary interactions, including situations students encounter at school, at home and online, rather than focusing on psychological disorders or diagnosis.

A natural first step for students interested in counselling, human resources, teaching or careers involving people.

Forensic & Clinical Psychology Internship Experience

On screen, forensic psychology looks like instinct and dramatic discoveries. In reality, it involves more careful examination.

This programme introduces psychology in clinical and legal settings, including how behaviour is understood and how psychological evidence may be considered within legal processes.

Worth exploring for students considering law, criminology or forensic science alongside psychology.

Clinical Psychology Virtual Internship

What makes a memory stick, and why does attention slip?

This virtual programme covers neuropsychology, memory, attention and how the brain processes information. Students apply these concepts through clinical case analysis.

Delivered online, it allows students in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah and across the UAE to participate without travelling.

A strong option for students curious about clinical psychology, research or cognitive science.

Why Five Days?

Unlike longer placements, a five-day psychology programme can fit into a school break.

It gives students an opportunity to explore a specific area of psychology before making decisions about school subjects, university courses or longer experiences.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can high school students do psychology internships in Dubai?

Yes. Intelligent Partners connects students in Grades 9–13 with two five-day, in-person psychology programmes in Dubai: Mind Matters and Forensic & Clinical Psychology.

Are online psychology internships available in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah?

Yes. The five-day Clinical Psychology Virtual Internship is available to students across the UAE, including Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Dubai. It covers neuropsychology, memory, attention, cognition and clinical case analysis.

What is the difference between the three psychology programmes?

Mind Matters focuses on emotions, communication and relationships. Forensic & Clinical Psychology examines behaviour and psychological evidence in legal contexts. Clinical Psychology Virtual covers memory, attention, cognition and neuropsychology.

Why do psychology internships have a fee?

These are structured, mentored educational experiences rather than employment placements. Fees cover programme delivery and professional guidance, while Intelligent Partners helps families select a suitable option.

Do these programmes qualify students to diagnose or treat psychological conditions?

No. These are career-exposure programmes, not professional clinical qualifications. Diagnosing and treating psychological conditions requires appropriate university education, professional training and licensing.

Start With the Question Your Child Keeps Asking

Whether it’s understanding human behaviour, the role of psychology in legal cases or how memory works, each programme offers a different introduction to the subject.

Intelligent Partners is a KHDA and MOE approved education consultancy, established in Dubai in 2007, serving students and families across the UAE.
